The Best of Both Worlds 3-D

Yeah...it's finally here!  Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus best of both worlds in 3D!
We have it recorded if anyone missed it.

Jeri invited us over to watch it with her family and have some "finger foods".
Good food, family and fun...does it get any better then that?
Me and Aunt Linda sporting our too cool 3D glasses!
We had to stop singing GNO (my favorite song, for reasons all should know) to take this picture.  Thanks for inviting us we had a great time!  We love you!

Play a song for me

The cute Harris kids came over while mom and dad got some free time together for shopping and a movie.  (Get Smart - they said they haven't laughed that hard for a long time)
Cayson and Kiley had fun playing BEAUTIFUL music on the piano.  They even had the hymn book out to look at.  We also colored and played tractors and ate macaroni.
And I got to hold this little sweetie for hours.  Kara is such a doll and a cuddly bear!  I always enjoy spending time with these guys, they have such fun personalities and always make me laugh.

I'll just take yours...

I have always felt bad that I didn't get to have more kids of my own and if you know me then you know that I love those little ones.  Anyway, I'm always glad to have kids over when I have the extra time and this last week I had a few of the Wardell's and Wiggins over.  We had a BLAST!

While the boys went swimming I took Anna and Daisy to feed the ducks at the Springville ponds.  They were so cute and kept saying "I can't believe how close they are" and "be patient there is enough for everyone".  These are the cutest girls with such fun personalities.  I just love being with them.  We also played at the park while we were waiting for the boys to finish up at the pool.  They all had fun playing with the Batman toys (as you can see Chewy was happy to be part of the fun) and we celebrated Carson's Birthday with candles in his pancakes the next morning.  What a great bunch of kids.  We are so lucky to know them.

Take US Away from the Madness!

We took some time this weekend to get away and relax.  We decided to go to Park City because it's close and Brett had never been there.  We had so much fun.  We took Chewy to an animal boarding place and he loved it.  We were worried about him getting along with the other dogs because he has been afraid since another dog nipped at him but he warmed up to them all quickly and even got in the pool. We got to know Main Street really well, hiking up and down it a few times. We also went on the Alpine Slide and the Roller Coaster...Highly recommend the Roller Coaster it's fast and fun!  We also went to Deer Valley and rode the tram to the top then hiked all over the place.  It was awesome!  There are a lot of people who take their Mtn Bikes to the top then ride them down the trails.  We want to do that next time.  We also got talked into going to a time share seminar.  Don't get excited we didn't invest but we did get 2 night there for $40 so we are going back in 2 weeks.  I hope Shandi will be able to go with us.  We had so much good food and walked so much that now we are glad to be home and actually get to relax!

Aquarium

We went to the aquarium in Salt Lake with Cathy and Brenna and had a great time.  Luckily the picture above was only a painting and Shad was never in any danger of being swallowed by the Whale Shark.
How cute are Sting Rays?  When you look at the bottom of them they look like they are smiling at you.  How cute is that boy too!
You also get to touch the Sting Rays.  They are so soft and calm.  Their stingers have been removed for safety which is a good thing because all the kids stick their hands in with them.

She's a Yankee Doodle Shandi!

We love you so much!  Happy Birthday Missy!

4th of July Parade Fun!

Me, Shad and Bo got to the parade route at 3:30pm.  We stayed up until 2:30am and even then only slept lightly through the rest of the morning.  We had so much fun but it was hot and we were tired so we actually left the parade a little early.  I don't know if I will ever sleep overnight there again I'm getting too old.  After all my Shandi turned 21 today!  That makes me as old as my mom!  Don't you remember your mom being old when you turned 21?  Shandi hung out with her friends up the street a ways but she stopped in to see us throughout the morning.
